The Trapper's Point Wildlife Overpass Interpretive Pullout project was completed on 2/16/2016. This pullout provides an educational site which honors the conservation accomplishment of creating wildlife crossing structures. It provides a safe location for interested motorists and it insulates migrating animals from human disturbance by guiding motorists to a reasonable observation distance. The final project includes a high definition web camera on the Trapper’s Point overpass that transmits live feed to the WCS and Pinedale Online websites, an artistic powder-coated steel 18foot mural representing pronghorn crossing an overpass replica, a spotting scope to view the overpass, and interpretive panels that speak to the multiple components of creating wildlife crossing structure at this site.
